Tijdens de Museumnacht leggen ze je er alles over uit! Ze laten je live zien hoe een micro-organisme antibiotica produceert en je neemt een petrischaaltje mee naar huis zodat je precies kan zien wat er allemaal aan bacteriën op je vingers groeit en leeft. Met onze speciale digitale microscopen, die tot 200x vergroten, kan je vervolgens op ontdekkingsreis. Bekijk alles op onze tafel vol samples, en je kan zelfs iets van thuis meenemen om te bekijken.
The Institute of Biology (IBL) is looking all over the world for microbes that can produce new antibiotics, from the high mountains to the deep sea. They will explain everything about it to you during the Museum Night! They show you how a micro-organism operates antibiotics and you can take home a petri dish so you can see exactly what bacteria are growing and living on your fingers. With our special digital microscopes, which magnify up to 200x, you can then make voyages of discovery. Check it all out on our table full of examples, and you can even bring something from home to check it out.
