Maar wat voor kunst exposeren ziekenhuizen tegenwoordig? En kan alle kunst worden getoond? Of zijn er speciale criteria waaraan kunst in ziekenhuizen moet voldoen? Many hospitals not only take care of their patients but also have their own art collections. Art in hospitals is not a new phenomenon. In the 14th and 15th centuries, hospital administrators commissioned artworks for hospital wards and chapels from greats such as Rogier van der Weyden and Hans Memling. But what kind of art do hospitals exhibit nowadays? And can all art be shown? Or are there special criteria that art in hospitals must meet?
