Mónica Colias is a Spanish artist and graphic designer
based in Leiden. She creates paintings and illustrations
inspired by popular culture: music, film, literature, and
everyday life; exploring emotion, storytelling, and
identity through colourful imagery. Her work aims to
spark curiosity, offer moments of calm, and celebrate
strength, vulnerability, and individuality.

During the Museumnacht Leiden, she creates live
illustrated portraits, capturing visitors in quick,
expressive drawings that become a unique keepsake of
the moment.
