Can I bring children to Museum Night Leiden?
Certainly! The Museum Night Leiden program includes plenty of activities that are fun and suitable for children. In the Museum Night app, you can filter the program by the ‘child-friendly’ category. Additionally, a discount is available for children up to 12 years old.
Which Museum Night locations are wheelchair accessible?
The National Museum of Antiquities, Museum Volkenkunde, Beestenmarkt, and the Night Path are fully wheelchair accessible. Heritage Leiden and Environs, the Hortus botanicus, the Old Observatory Leiden, Museum De Lakenhal, and Ars Aemula are partially wheelchair accessible. If you need specific information, you can send an email to secretariaat@museumnachtleiden.nl.
Is there an afterparty?
Definitely! This year, the Museum Night Leiden afterparty will take place at …. The doors are open from 11:00 PM to 2:00 AM. A ticket for our event automatically includes a ticket for the afterparty.
Which locations are participating this year?
Participating in Museum Night Leiden this year are: Japan Museum SieboldHuis, Hortus botanicus Leiden, Old Observatory, National Museum of Antiquities, Heritage Leiden and Environs, Molenmuseum de Valk, Museum de Lakenhal, Rijksmuseum Boerhaave, De Grachtwacht, Wereldmuseum Leiden, Ars Aemula Naturae, Naturalis Biodiversity Center, The Pilgrim Museum, and De Grachtwacht.
How do I exchange my ticket for an entry wristband?
With your e-ticket, you can pick up an entry wristband starting June 4th. This wristband then gives
you access to all participating locations. Due to the crowds on the day
of Museum Night itself, we recommend exchanging your e-ticket(s) for a
wristband on June 4th or 5th. This way, you avoid standing in line on the day itself. You can pick up your
wristband at the following locations:
June 4th and June 5th, 2026:
- VVV Leiden between 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wereldmuseum Leiden between 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
June 6th, 2026:
- VVV Leiden between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Wereldmuseum Leiden between 10:00 AM – 1:30 AM
- Beestenmarkt between 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Academy Building between 12:00 PM – 1:30 AM
