Tuna Band

Tuna Ciudad de Luz (TCL) is a student music association at Eindhoven University of Technology. Founded in 1964, TCL is the oldest Tuna group outside of Spain and Portugal. A Tuna is a group of students who perform Spanish folk music alongside their studies. In Spain, nearly every university has a Tuna group, often even one per faculty. The fact that a Dutch university has a Tuna is truly unique!
This group of students still performs with great enthusiasm, and with songs like “Guantanamera,” “Ceilito Lindo,” or “La Bikina,” it’s hard to go wrong.
Dressed in their traditional Tuna costumes, they’ll turn it into a real Spanish party with their music and singing!
